The Convent

It is the most notable building in the village, of neo-gothic style. It was built on request from Magdalena de Grau i de Gras in 1912 to house the Tertiary nuns and to later become the girls school in 1920. It eventually turned into the public school of the village. From the 20th century it became the central space for different activities: doctor's office, kindergarten, post office and up until not too long ago, the library. It has also hosted different associations of the village. In 2020, the Ajuntament acquired the property, which was still owned by the diocese.
