Llagut Benifallet returns to the Ebro to start the tourist season
The Llagut Benifallet has returned to the river today to start sailing from tomorrow Thursday March 24, once the flow of the Ebro has gone down. The launch of the boat marks the beginning of the tourist season in Benifallet, coinciding with Easter.
Thus, from tomorrow until Easter Monday you can make trips along the river every day. There will be four departures: at 11 and 12.30 in the morning and at 16.30 and 18.00 in the afternoon. After Easter the boat will leave on weekends with the same schedule and in July and August there will be daily trips.
Last year, some 4,300 people made the trip with the Llagut, which is an hour's journey upstream and allows you to see the riparian forests. The tour is guided.
El Llagut is one of the tourist proposals of Benifallet whose main element is the Coves Meravelles, which are also open every day from Easter, from 10 am to 1.30 pm and from 4 pm to 7.30 pm. On Friday, Saturdays, Sundays and Easter Mondays, they do not close at noon.
Last season about 19,000 people visited the caves.
Benifallet has opened this the tourist information point located at the entrance of the municipality, on Avenida Lluís Companys 3, which will be open this Easter every day at the same time as the Caves. In summer, it will offer daily service.
